Yes, they have made the inventory system better! You no longer need to pause the game and select items. Capcom has made it more realistic and now you have to choose your items while you are in the game. Besides, it would be really annoying to see your partner pause the game every now and then. Moreover, you can also exchange weapons with each other! The rest of the gameplay remains the same. Of course the plot has changed and it is much better than before! You no longer have to fight diseased zombies because these are actually sensible enough to beat the hell out of you, so beware!

While you are in the start of chapter 2, you can obtain items and immediately quit the game. Restart the game again by continuing from the same chapter and you will have the items that you took before you quit. What’s good about this? The good in this is that you can now select more items while you already have the items you selected previously! Do it again and keep gathering items!
Want to play with Wesker S.T.A.R.S. without buying him? You can do that by the following trick! Once you have Wesker and Jill unlocked, you can play with them in versus mode. Simply go to the versus mode and select your team and press RT after that till you are at Wesker S.T.A.R.S. Now here’s the trick: As soon as you are on Wesker, immediately press LT and RT at the same time and you’ll be able to select him without buying him.
