Who doesn’t know of the Final Fantasy series! One of the most popular and engaging games of all time. The concept, the gameplay and the characters, seem to get better with every new franchise. Final Fantasy XIII is no exception here! The game came out with a huge bang! Although there are many notable changes in it still it is as amusing as any other series of the game. Fans might have a bit of difficulty or might feel a change in the game but the majority of the factors, especially the battles, are still kept the same. The changes just add to the amusement and renew the feel of playing this game for the first time once again.
The Gameplay:
Similar to the previous versions, Final Fantasy XIII lets you take control of 6 characters. Although during most of the game you might feel that Lightning (a female character) is the main one, especially after seeing all the posters with her images, but she’s not. You still get to control all six players in different situations all at the same time and at times singularly. The overall plot of the game is highly intriguing and amusing though it’s a bit bland. Gamers would probably feel that the company has added a touch of straight-edge approach to the game this time.
While most of the time you will fall in love with Lightning, the sharp edges of the game surely make it tougher and more intense to play.
Weapon upgrading:
All of the characters in the game have a number of weapons to access. All of these weapons can be upgraded and modified just twice throughout the whole game so you might want to upgrade your best weapon for the boss. It’s pretty simple – there is a star rank for each weapon which is the maxima of it. You can also find some unique items around that help you in transforming your weapon to the star level making it perform newer moves and giving it better abilities. Once your weapon is at the star level, you can make it your character’s best weapon in which case the character will be able to perform more moves with it. The best way to go by all of this is to select one weapon and use it until you get the star rank for it.
One cheat that can make your experience more fun-filled!
Although you wouldn’t like using cheat with this game – it’s just that solacing! Still if you like you can use the following trick to make your game play better:
Snow’s defense mode:
Snow (the character) can actually enter into the state of complete defense. All you need to do is to get him his Winged Saint weapon with three other players at level 5 of Sentinels and then shift the paradigm to tortoise to make him invincible. This will bring him in a phase of complete defense and all attacks made to him now will not damage him even a bit.
